So it's not exactly a secret that I am usually pretty happy to get plot bunnies/prompts from people, with the caveat that 1) I may not be able to write them if they don't strike the right cord, and 2) I may not get to them right away. In fact, sometimes it's months before I can get to a prompt.

( tl;dr I cannot write ALL the prompts, okay? )

Okay, not really, but I just got a really nice comment on "Silent Night," so I thought I would try to even the scales a bit by NOT constantly bitching about the reviewers there. ;)

Yet another snide suggestion of plagiarism. On the plus side, they keep suggesting I'm plagiarizing talented authors (in this case kroki_refur), so I guess they think the writing is good ( Read more... )

It's kind of funny, at this point.

Anonymous Reviewer™ at ff.net decided that I sold "Thicker Than Water" under false pretenses, because it was too sympathetic to Sam and not sympathetic enough to Dean's POV.

I'd really like to know whether said reviewer actually read the summary before reading.

I am *thisclose* to abandoning ff.net entirely. It's one thing to have people tell me I don't know what I'm doing, or to miss the point of a fic. It's another thing entirely to be accused of plagiarism, especially when the person won't even have the decency to leave a reply link.

Don't get me wrong. Fanfiction.net is where I started out as a fledgling fanfic writer, and I have a soft spot for it.

That being said, the people on there constantly flummox me with their inability to grasp what I'm driving at with my fic. It's a small percentage, maybe 10% max, but their reviews eat at me.
